Iced americano, iced latte, cold brew or frappé?

Four cold coffees, four very different drinks. How each one is made, how it tastes and what it costs at The Central Drip in Hetauda.

Iced coffee in a glass

Hetauda gets hot, and on hot days most of our orders come with ice. But not all cold coffees are the same. Here is how to pick.

Iced americano

Espresso and cold water over ice. Black, bold and refreshing. Rs 160 single, Rs 260 double.

Iced latte

Espresso with cold milk over ice. Smooth and creamy. Rs 230 / 280. Add a flavour (caramel, hazelnut, vanilla, honey, choco mint, Oreo or mocha) for Rs 300 / 350.

Cold brew

Not espresso at all. Cold brew is made with cold water over 12 to 24 hours in our drip tower, so it is naturally smooth, low in acid and a little sweet. It is the only cold brew in Hetauda.

Frappé

Coffee blended with ice and milk into a thick, frosty drink. More dessert than coffee. Rs 350.

Quick pick

Want it strong: iced americano. Want it creamy: iced latte. Want it smooth and different: cold brew. Want a treat: frappé.
